The Tim Ferriss PAGG Stack - My Favorite, Natural Weight Loss Stack

The PAGG stack, discovered (created) by Tim Ferriss, author of The 4 Hour Body, The 4 Hour Work Week, a number of other amazing publications & the creator of one of the top Podcasts in the world - this stack is an oldie, but a goodie.

In my earlier years I used off the shelf stimulants packed full of garbage. Massive amounts of caffeine & other weird stuff.

But then I found the PAGG Stack.

When you actually begin to get obsessed with altering your health, I think a huge note to make is the difference between changing your 'weight' & changing your 'body fat percentage.' If all you want to do is lose weight - jog on. If you're looking to reduce your 'body fat percentage' you need a different approach.

Our number of fat cells doesn't easily change. The number we have become 'set' when we are young & there after are very difficult to decrease their numbers. But how 'full' they are or how big we let them get can fluctuate drastically & easily throughout our lifetime. If you have a lot of fat cells vs fewer fat cells, gaining a bit of extra can get out of control a lot faster & compounds a LOT faster.

Stimulants can cause a lot of caloric burn, pulling the fat out of cells to burn as energy (glucose.) Great. But these ingredients in the PAGG stack can kill off fat cells, lower fat storage & prevent future fat storage. You're not just burning off your weight. Your changing at a cellular level.

This stack is totally natural. Mostly stuff we already know is healthy - like green tea extract & garlic - in really condensed forms & high levels. We know from looking at the Asian culture that green tea is one of the natural fountains of youth. But what is it actually doing that optimizes health? Well lets actually look at the ingredients.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): increases glucose & nutrient absorption right into the muscle, is an antioxidant & inhibits fat storage. It's found in organ meat, spinach & broccoli, but only in trace amounts. If given intravenously in high amounts it has cured liver disease in 75 out of 79 test subjects.

Green Tea Extract (EGCG): it is known to inhibit cancer growth & reduce mitochondrial oxidative stress (reverse aging.) It ALSO happens to diverts the storage of carbs from fat cells (creating body fat) into muscle cells (yay!) & increased 'cell death' of mature fat cells - which is typically really hard to do.

Garlic Extract (Allicin): do your research on this one - there is a difference between aged & unaged garlic extract, the amount of Allicin IN they type you buy & a precursor for absorption, etc. This ingredient can inhibit fat regain.

Policosanol: this is a plant extract. When taken at night, this ingredient has a major positive effect on your HDL & LDL cholesterol levels, increasing your fat loss results.

The most difficult part of this stack is actually getting your hands on the right amount.

If you haven't read the 4 Hour Body - you should. Like, right now. It is my most recommended health book & it is my most gifted book. I have gifted this book over 8 times. Then simply go buy another for myself after realizing how often I use it as a reference in my house for whatever weird new body change I'm making.

The point of that was - the BOOK has the correct amounts for what is in the PAGG stack. If you think this doesn't matter a lot - you are very wrong. How much you take of anything - even natural - is really important. Especially if you:

1) want actual results &

2) don't want to waste time & money.

The PROBLEM is getting your hands on the complete stack.

It honestly sucks. Especially if you are Canadian. We have our perks, but our Amazon website is not one of them. & are not created equal. Even though I have an account - there are some products that wont ship to Canada.

Regardless - the PAGG stacks I have found all packaged up, nice & pretty - don't have the proper amounts of each ingredient. Some of them have really unnecessary amounts of ALA or not enough EGCG to make the stack effective. Which is SUPER annoying.

I've looked at 3 different branded stacks and none of them have the right amounts that are laid out in the book. Ce la vie. And none of them are on the Canadian website. All of them are made in & shipped from America.

I have previously ordered one of the 'branded stacks' and then bought 1 extra bottle of whatever the ingredient was that was too low. But it still seemed like an annoying rip off and annoying math.

So I have taken to buying each part of the stack separately, putting them in a huge senior citizens daily pill tray and choking back a handful of pills 4 times a day; because this stack is worth it.

This is my most recommended stack to beginner clients who are looking for an edge in their fat loss journey & are open to actually starting to biohack their health.

If you're not 'biohacking' - you're playing with the amatures.
